Japan Broadcasting Corp announced that they
thoroughly improved the oxygen and moisture resistances of their LED device. In
addition, they utilized the new technology to demonstrate a display by playing a
press preview of Open House 2013 May 28, 2013.As the development of flexible LED displays and LED lighting devices being advanced, their durabilities
remain a big problem for commercialization. To solve this problem, the barrier
capability of the sealing layer located outside of an LED device is being
strengthened. But it requires special materials and potentially increases
costs.According to the announcement, the light-emitting area of the previous LED device produced by NHK and Nippon Shokubai decreases by half in 100 days in
the air due to the oxidation of their negative electrodes, while the latest led high bay lighting manufacturer device hardly deteriorates under the same conditions. Therefore, the cost of
sealing materials to be located outside of an LED device can probably be
decreased.
Specifically, an electron-injection layer, electron-transport layer,
light-emitting layer, hole-transport layer and positive electrodes are formed in
this order on a transparent substrate/transparent negative electrodes (ITO).The
hole-transport layer,light-emitting layer, electron-transport layer and
electron-injection layer are formed in this order on a transparent substrate
(such as glass)/transparent positive electrodes, and then, negative electrodes
are formed. It said the system highlights the expression and skin tone of the
"Mona Lisa," enabling viewers to enjoy more accurate color shades of the
painting. The new lighting system, which is housed in a display that holds the
"Mona Lisa," measures 53 x 77 centimeters and has 34 LED chips that evenly
illuminate the work.A half-length oil portrait of who is believed to be Lisa
Gherardini of the Gherardini family of Florence and Tuscany, da Vinci's
masterpiece is arguably the world's best-known work of art.
The agency said the $10.1 million in competitive, matching grants to five
companies are for two-year projects that "will focus on achieving significant
cost reductions while maintaining quality by improving manufacturing equipment,
processes, or monitoring techniques. The grant will help fund continuing research
and development in several places, Merritt said, including at Cree subsidiary
Ruud Lighting, 9201 Washington Ave. He said whether the grant leads to new
employment depends on the extent to which Cree and nichia 150w led high bay ies file.achieve the grant’s
goals: increasing the efficiency and reducing the costs of manufacturing and
selling LEDs to boost their popularity.Merritt noted Cree is a highly vertically
integrated company. Therefore it will be continuing research and development of
"all the elements of the system, to incorporate LED lighting in many types of
light fixtures.
